The fourth annual Bucks County Book Festival returns September 24 through 26 to Doylestown with a new cultural partner: the Mercer Museum & Fonthill Castle!
This three-day celebration, connecting authors and book lovers, features professionally published authors, including New York Times bestsellers Christina Baker Kline and Jason Reynolds, along with Book Fest on the Green on the grounds of the Mercer Museum, and a Writers Workshop.

Join up for Bucks Book Fest on the Green for an opportunity to meet 18 authors, mingle with fellow book lovers, and shop the Book Tent, all on the beautiful grounds of the historic Mercer Museum.
Writers Workshop
Sunday September 26 • 1 – 3 PM
Join our popular Writers Workshop, featuring two spectacular instructors.
Tsering Wangmo Dhompa is the first Tibetan female poet to be published in English. She teaches memoir and poetry at Villanova University.
Seeing Images: Imagining the Familiar • 1 – 2pm
Alan Drew is the author of the novel, Gardens of Water. He is Associate Professor of English at Villanova University where he directs the creative writing program.
Character Building: Breathing Life into Your Characters • 2 – 3pm
This is an In-Person Event at Salem Church Doylestown located at 186 East Court Street in Doylestown.
Tickets
Option 1: Purchase an All-Access Pass providing admission to three Book Festival events at a discounted rate. (Writers Workshop not included in All-Access Passes) There are a limited number of All-Access Passes available for purchase.
Option 2: Purchase a ticket to each event separately.
Most events will be in-person. Advance tickets are required.
