Join us for games and a walk to view some of these most important birds. These valuable scavengers are an important species in our ecosystem. Learn about why and how this matters to us.
SATURDAY MORNING BIRD WALKS
September 4- October 23 • 8:00-9:30 am No Fee, Donation of $5 per person greatly appreciated. Join Mike Smith for a hike to seek out the birds that are around. Bring your binoculars or borrow ours.
TEACHER NATURALIST TRAINING
September 7,8,9,10,14,15 (rain date 16) 1:00- 2:30pm
Join us for 6 sessions that will bring environmental education to life. After observing classes there is a possibility of becoming a part-time Teacher Naturalist.
YOGA FOR KIDS

All Sessions Held Outdoors ~ NO FEE Donation of $10 per family appreciated
Introduce your family to a love of nature and yoga with an energetic, themed class full of kids yoga poses, songs, games, crafts and stories.

We shall gather our bug boxes and go on a quest for insects and their relatives.
BRING YOUR OWN KAYAK
Thursday, September 16 (Rain Date September 17) • 8:30-9:30pm Fee: $10 (Members Free) pre-registration needed/limited spaces Bring your own kayak and meet at the boat ramp for a delightful evening paddle. You must have an approved floatation device with you, a county issued boat license, a whistle and a light to join us. Inclement weather cancels the event.

Tuesday, September 21 • 7:30– 8:30pm Come join us as we walk and observe one of the most spectacular and brightest moons of the year! Meet at the Nature Center. Inclement weather cancels the walk.
5TH ANNUAL FALL HARVEST SAMPLER
Friday, September 24 • 7-10pm Fee: $100 (Individuals) 175(Couples) pre-registration needed/limited spaces. Join us for our 5th Fall Harvest Sampler a great evening of beer & food pairings, live music, silent auction and more. Support environmental education and conservation!
BABES IN THE WOODS (Members $45) (Non-members $50)

For children 9 months to 2 years Awaken the senses of your babe with a great outdoor experience. These nature awareness classes focus on age appropriate walks. Experience the wonders of Peace Valley Nature Center.
