Doylestown Area Egg Hunts and Easter Events

PEEPS in the Village, Peddler’s Village, Lahaska

This spring, Peddler’s Village presents the 3rd Annual PEEPS in the Village, on display from Friday, March 11 through Sunday, April 24. The colorful display will include more than 70 creations of wall art, dioramas, and sculpture, featuring the popular Pennsylvania-made bunnies and chicks, and carefully handmade and contributed by Philly-area residents and organizations. Admission to the display is free. Housed in the Red Barn, located off Street Road and Peddler’s Lane. 

Saturday, April 2nd, 10am 

New Britain Township Parks & Recreation Annual Easter Egg Hunt, North Branch Park, 207 Park Avenue, Chalfont

Egg hunt begins at 10am sharp; photos with the Easter Bunny will begin at 9:30 am. Non-perishable goods and monetary donations will be collected and donated to the New Britain Food Pantry. In the case of inclement weather, the event rain date is 4/9/22.

Doggie Eggstravaganza at Peace Valley Nature Center, 

170 North Chapman Road, Doylestown

Your furry friend will love our doggie egg hunt! Eggs contain either a treat or a prize, and don’t forget your basket. Dogs must be 4 months or older, up to date on vaccinations, and on a non-retractable leash no longer than 6 feet. Friendly non food-aggressive dogs and their humans are welcome. $10 per dog, $5 for members. Register at peacevalleynaturecenter.org.

Easter Activities at Solly Farm, 707 Almshouse Road, Ivyland

Mr. & Mrs. Bunny will be here for Easter activities! Hayrides followed by an egg hunt will run every 30 minutes. At the end of each egg hunt, one of the Bunnies will provide a special treat to each child. Cost is $6 per person. 

Sundays, April 3rd and April 10th, 1-2pm

Easter Egg Hunt at Mercantile at Doylestown, 444-446 N. Main St., Doylestown

Get ready for the Mercantile’s indoor Easter Egg Hunt! Will you be the one to find the Golden Egg? This event is open to children ages 2-12 years old. Parents are required to accompany their children at all times. Sign up at mercantiledoylestown.com.

Family Ministry Easter Egg-Stravaganza at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Doylestown

Join us for a morning filled with stories, crafts, snacks, and an indoor Easter Egg hunt where everyone’s a winner! We will be crafting bags for the Easter egg hunt. Participants are asked to bring items for Home at Last Animal Rescue. Please RSVP online, at doylestownlutheran.org.

Old-Fashioned Easter Egg Hunt at Peddler’s Village, Lahaska

Hop over to the Visitor and Event Center field for an Old-Fashioned Egg Hunt! This is a timed and ticketed event with limited capacity for each time. Each time slot features separate areas for ages 1-3, 4-7, and 8-10. Cost is $10/child. Children receive: an Easter basket, 6 candy-filled eggs during the hunt, a prize during the hunt, a chance to win the Grand Prize, and Easter Bunny appearances. Easter Brunch at the Elmwood Park Zoo, 1661 Harding Blvd Norristown

Enjoy a delicious breakfast, participate in Easter activities, and meet one of the beloved education animals. Don’t forget to grab a photo with the Easter Bunny and then enjoy exploring the zoo! There are three brunch sessions each day: 10am, 11:15am, and 12:30pm. Rain or shine event. Purchase tickets and register at elmwoodparkzoo.org.

Easter Eggstravaganza at Shadybrook Farm, 931 Stony Hill Rd., Yardley

Take a wagon ride to the “hunting grounds” where kids will find 6 candy-filled eggs. Return to the festival field to meet the Easter bunny, get a prize, and enjoy the many activities. Children under 24 months are free. Online admission $12/child, $8/adult, or at the gate (subject to availability) $15/child, $10/adult. Get tickets at shadybrookfarm.com. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, with seatings at 9 and 11am for $30/person also available for reservation.
